Well done the U-16 girls who have reached the county semi-finals tonight. A good victory in Gleann Fhinne this evening sees them going into the hat for the semi-final draw. That game will take place on the 15th September. ORDERS ONLY BY TEXT TO 087-9016072 OR E-MAIL [email protected]
Orders For tickets must be placed with the Club Secretary by Sunday Night the 9th of September. Due to the large number of orders received not all orders can be satisfactorily allowed. As previously advertised the Executive of the Club will monitor all orders and will apply a point system, which will grade all applicants based on numerous criterion. Tickets and type of ticket will then be allocated according to the grade of applicant. It is hoped that our allocation from the County Board will be known soon and as soon as the closing date for orders is passed the Executive will endeavor to let everyone know as soon as possible whether they are getting tickets or not. The Donegal G.A.A. County Board in conjunction with the Donegal Players Training Fund are holding a meet and greet session on Saturday next 8th September 2012 in Mac Cumhaill Park at 11.30am.

Come along and enjoy the buzz and build up to the All Ireland Final in Croke Park on the 23rd September 2012. The senior men teams are on the home straight in the league with 4 games to go. Everything is still all to play for and 2 points on Saturday evening would be a big boost. This Saturday they entertain Bundoran in the banks. The junior game has a throw-in time of 5-00pm with the senior game throwing-in at 6.30pm. Please support both teams.
Orders for All Ireland Tickets can be sent to An Runaí.

This does not mean that all orders will be sucessfull, but each order will be considered by the committee. As it may not be able to write down orders when taking phone calls, texting or emails would be an better way of having your order recorded. The club has yet to receive it's allocation from the County Board, therefore no orders can be guaranteed at this time. More information will be posted when it is made available to us. BIG ONE FOR THE DIARY
Finbar and Frankie Fun Run and Walk - Friday Sept 21st at 7pm in the Banks. Benefit evening for two great club stalwarts who sadly left us in the past year. Details to follow but many will look forward to paying further respects to two great characters of our community by taking part in this run or walk. This Sunday's (02/09/12) division 2,senior and reserve, league games are cancelled due to the sad passing of John 'The Yank' Boyle. The late John Boyle was a brother of current club vice chairman, Charlie 'The Yank' Boyle.
The club would like to pass on it's sympathies to all of John's family. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. |
