Coaching Week There will be a 'Child Protection - Code of Ethics and Good Practice in Sport' course held in the clubhouse on Wednesday the 13th of July @ 7p.m. This course is open to anyone who wishes to work with the club in a coaching role or helping out with teams. Anyone wishing to take part contact Donald Sharkey or Bríd Doherty. As at the moment we are short of female mentors who have this course done, so it would be nice to see, mothers ,sisters ,aunts coming along. Everyone is welcome, male and female. With growing numbers at underage now this is a very important course. Hope to get a good turnout to help the Club into our future.
You may also contact us via the website using the link below. Contact Us Unfortunately but unavoidably the trip to Gola Island has had to be postponed this Sunday July 10th and re-scheduled (subject to confirmation) for Sunday August 14th.
This is due to the late arrangement of Senior and reserve Club matches away to Burt as well as an Under 16 play off in Glenties against Kilcar. This means that over 80 pl...ayers and officials would be away as well as supporters and families who would be travelling to these games. This Sunday was meant to be fixture free....hence the Trip to Gola....but as there is a backlog of fixtures...the Senior match was arranged and its important to play this. There was an added complication with the Curragh day in Magheragallon which added to it just not working out....so it was felt best to re-arrange the date. If you had planned to travel....we are very sorry and we hope to take full advantage of having the extra time to prepare for a big day on August 14th. This date should be confirmed in the next few days once we can. Photos from the league game played in the Banks on Saturday (02/07/2011) are now in the gallery.

So far two meetings with members and non-members have taken place where ideas and feedback have been gathered. These meetings have been both positive and invaluable in the early stages of forming a Club plan for the next ten years.
Next Wednesday night July 6th at 8pm Gary Boyle, Club Youth officer will Chair a further meeting of the Club Plan. We call on all members, non-members, parents, players and all interested in furthering the Club aims to come along for an hour and a half. This meeting requires your input and very often the best ideas and suggestions come from the least likely source so we do want all opinions and ideas that are reflective of all the community. Please do not think that because you are not a "regular" that you are not valued.....the opposite is the case with this process. This is a very important part of the plan. The U-1i6's travelled to Kilcar this evening to play the 2nd leg of the championship. After an excellent home win they were hoping to progress tonight but the home side proved too strong. This means that there will be a third match to decide who goes forward to the next round.
The Burn road Termon today seen our young ladies take a mighty step up in pace to push us past Fanad and get ourselves into the semi-finals.
Today the girls showed grit and determination from the get-go and notched up a good half-time lead of 2-09 to 0-01. But when your playing a team like Fanad you can never rest on your laurels.....they pushed us hard and notched some fine scores in the 2nd half. Our girls held their nerves and went on to record a sweet victory. Great team effort from everyone. Good we note for the future in young Hannah Gallagher made a 2nd half debut for us.
