The will be no definite information on tickets or indeed our Quarter Final fixture until next Monday morning. There is a possibility that Donegal could be drawn to play the winners of the Tyrone/Armagh v Roscommon game, which will likely be played on the weekend of August 6th/7th instead of the August bank holiday weekend. Páirc an Chrócaigh will not be in a position to issue any definite information on tickets, prices, etc, until the actual fixture has been fixed. If we are drawn against teams other than Tyrone/Armagh v Roscommon our QF game will be on the August bank holiday weekend, and with information on tickets being available on the Monday before the game. More information will be posted here once we have it, go raibh maith agaibh. It was a source of great pride to see young Daniel Devlin from Annagry NS line out in the LIVE TO PLAY match in Clones on Sunday in front of 30,000 fans. The young Naomh Mhuire player wore the LIVE TO PLAY jersey and is pictured here with it and his medal from the day. LIVE TO PLAY is a positive message initiative from the GAA. Too often too many of our young are killed or badly injured in horrific car accidents. The devastation caused by this is not measureable by words. LIVE TO PLAY is a clear message. Always be safe on the roads of our area or when travelling. Our young deserve only the best but above all they deserve to LIVE TO PLAY. Well done in that match Daniel and for carrying the message of LIVE TO PLAY. County Training Fund Tickets are now available from any committee member. Tickets are €10.00 each or Book of Three for €20.00, proceeds going to the County Senior Team Training fund. Draw takes place on Bank Holiday Monday, 1st of August and closing date for club sales is Friday the 29th of July.

View Photos Tonight's Division 1 Final finished all square! In terrible conditions in Dunkineely tonight it was a game of two halves. Naomh Muire, playing against the wind and driving rain, trailed by nine points at half time. A wonderful second half performance seen them gradually reduce the deficit until they eventually took the lead with time running out. The last score of the game was an equalising point for Aodh Ruadh from a 14 yard fee. Conditions tonight were too bad to allow for extra time. The games goes to a replay! From Lower Rosses Mayor...... What a comeback. These young hero's were 2-06 to 0-3 down at HT having endured a late Aodh Rua goal just before the break with the Ballyshannon lads playing with a strong wind. Naomh Mhuire played well enough against the elements but the late goal looked to be enough to see an Aodh Rua win. However, those who have watched the heart of this team in recent weeks knew that the game was still in the mix as Naomh Mhuire ran onto the field for the second half. What happened in the next 30 minutes was a lesson not only in football but indeed in life that nothing is over until its over. Point by point, tackle by tackle and pass by pass, the lads worked their way back into the match roared on by a big Naomh Mhuire support. Unreal scores by Hugh Boyle (Yank), long range efforts and a great goal by Shaun Mc Cafferty and a great point by young Jack Boyle were amoung the crucial scores needed. With three minutes left....the unbelievable happened and Naomh Mhuire nosed into a one point lead and it looked like the first ever Div 1 Championship trophy was on its was to the Banks. However with time practically up Aodh Rua were awarded a free on the 13 metre line and it was pointed to bring the match all square. Referee Michael Mc Shane correctly judged that there was not enough daylight left to play extra time so the game goes to a Replay in Dunkineely again on Friday night. Its a sign of where the Club in general has come to when we are leaving a ground unhappy and not beating a team with a tradition like Aodh Rua in a final. Lets get all the crew out again on Friday night ...great support there tonight. Well done Gary, Sean and lads. Good luck to the under 16s who will travel to Dunkineely tonight to take on Aodh Ruadh Ballyshannon in the Div 1 regional final. Aodh Ruadh will be a very tough game and will be favourites for tonights game. However Naomh Mhuire are in the final on merit and will be hoping to become the first team from the club to win a Div 1 title. All the best boys. Naomh Muire secured another two league points on their travels last night (16/07/2011). The visiting team made a bright start to the game and where two points up in the opening ten minutes before Carndonagh responded with a point of their own. A couple of frees from Harry Harden had Naomh Muire further ahead while Donnachadh Gallagher, playing at full foward, kept Carndonagh in touch. A nice move up along the left touchline involving Dara White, Shaun 'The Yank' Boyle and Owen Grant saw Naomh Muire rattle the net minutes later. A penalty was awarded minutes later which Captain Owenie McGarvey stepped up to cooly convert. This left the half time score Carndonagh 0-05 Naomh Muire 2-04. The second half turned out to be a different affair. Naomh Muire, starting today with three changes, found it difficult to get a hold of the ball in midfield where the home team where getting on top. Sean Gallagher was in fine form in the Naomh Muire gaol, when he made two point blank saves to deny the Carn men certain gaols. Carndonagh maintained the pressure but where wasteful in front of gaol. They did manage to score four points from a comnbination of play and from placed balls. Naomh Muire added two further points of their own to win by three points in the end. A hard earned two points gained from this match which maintains Naomh Muire position as table toppers. Just over middway through the league now and we are sitting on 19 points. In a hard fought match the home team started the brightest and were on the scoreboard within the opening minute. Their full foward added further points before Naomh Muire got their first score. A goal either side of half time where the crucial scores and ones that the travelling team never got back from. A better second half performance saw Naomh Muire close the gap but the home team were always comfortable and ran out winners. The reserves meet this same team in the championship in a few weeks time.
